Following its massive Early Access launch, Hytale has received its first substantial content update. Released on January 17th, 2026, Update 1 focuses on expanding the endgame experience and refining core gameplay loops.

🦖 World Expansion: Zone 4 Underworld

Adventurers can now go deeper into the Devastated Lands (Zone 4), the volcanic islands found in the open ocean.

Dinosaurs : New dinosaur NPCs have been introduced in a hidden underworld beneath Zone 4.
Adamantite Ore : Players can now harvest Adamantite in these depths to craft powerful endgame gear.
Environmental Polish : Improved atmospheric effects in Devastated Lands sewers and volcanic areas.

⚔️ Combat Refinements & Creature Balance

Combat feels tighter with several adjustments to hit detection and logic.
